On Wednesday night, the NBA features eight games on the main DraftKings slate, including the big showdown game between the Cavaliers and Thunder. It should be another great night of DFS fantasy basketball, so be sure to get your team together for DraftKings contests, including the NBA $300K Excellent 8’s [$100K to 1st] which offers a $100,000 top prize for just an $8 entry. As you put your lineups together, several teams are in great spots to stack, so be sure to take a look at these three spots to stack this Wednesday.
Building your lineup around multiple players from the same team can help your lineup have an even higher ceiling since there is an increased correlation between the players’ production. On Monday, I highlighted the Grizzlies, Spurs and Nets, who all had strong performances and served as core parts of many winning lineups. While stacking does raise your entry’s ceiling, it also raises the risk of your roster if the game turns into a blowout, but the juice is usually worth the squeeze if you find the right spots to attack.

Philadelphia 76ers vs. Washington Wizards
The Sixers are in an extremely favorable matchup against the Wizards, who have allowed the most points per game in the NBA this season and play at the fourth-fastest pace. Whoever was in line to get usage for the Sixers would be a good play, but with Joel Embiid (foot) and Paul George (groin) sidelined, there’s even more likely value since lower-salary players will have a chance to set up.
Core Plays: The obvious play is Tyrese Maxey ($8,900) in an obvious smash spot. He has played exceptionally well all season and should get all the usage he can handle in a matchup that’s been extremely favorable, especially for point guards. Kelly Oubre Jr. ($5,100) should also help carry the load. In his nine games without both George and Embiid available, Oubre had a 21.3% usage rate and averaged 29.0 fantasy points per game. He’s also coming off a monster game on Monday when he had 26 points, 11 boards, and 42.75 DraftKings points against the Suns. The Sixers’ other big star on Monday was Guerschon Yabusele ($5,000), who had 33 fantasy points and a double-double of 14 points and 10 rebounds while filling in for Embiid and Andre Drummond ($5,100; toe), who is questionable for Wednesday.
Value Options: Oubre and Yabusele are great value options, but if you want to go even cheaper, Justin Edwards ($3,100) has flashed some upside with 11 points in 23 minutes on Saturday and played 13 minutes off the bench on Monday. Caleb Martin ($4,900) can fill in multiple categories in the box score and should get heavy minutes and usage. We may even see plenty of Eric Gordon ($3,000) to help cover for PG13’s absence. The veteran had 14 points and 23.25 DraftKings points last Wednesday but has played under 15 minutes in each of his three games since and failed to score on Saturday and Monday.
Indiana Pacers vs. Chicago Bulls
The Bulls have also been a great matchup to target for stacking this season since they play at the third-fastest pace and have allowed the second-most points per game, behind only the Wizards. The Pacers have the highest implied team total on the slate and will look to keep up their recent momentum at home against their division rivals. They beat the Bulls 132-123 in their first game of the season.
Core Plays: The key name to watch on the Pacers’ injury report is Tyrese Haliburton ($8,500; ankle), who is questionable. If he plays, he’ll have a very high ceiling, and if he is out, everyone else will get increased usage. Haliburton had 45.5 fantasy points against the Bulls earlier this season and posted 72.25 and 53.75 fantasy points in his first two games of 2025 before finishing with 42 fantasy points on Monday in a comfortable win over the Nets. Haliburton’s main running mate has been Pascal Siakam ($6,900) lately, while Myles Turner ($6,400, illness) always brings a high ceiling and is in a very favorable matchup for centers against Chicago. Turner was added to the injury report as questionable.
Value Options: If Haliburton sits, T.J. McConnell ($3,800) would become one of the best values on the board if he steps into the lineup. Andrew Nembhard ($4,900) has posted good non-scoring numbers in his last few games, but his scoring has dipped a bit. He has an extremely high ceiling when he puts it all together, and showed his upside with over 40 DraftKings points and a near triple-double recently against the Celtics. In the frontcourt, Obi Toppin ($3,700) has played 15+ minutes in three straight games, with 17+ fantasy points in each outing on double-digit points. If Turner is out, Toppin and Thomas Bryant ($3,200) could both get more work and be strong plays.
Brooklyn Nets vs. Detroit Pistons
The Nets aren’t really a good team right now, but they do offer good value since they continue to be without so many key pieces. Cam Thomas (hamstring), Cameron Johnson (ankle) and D’Angelo Russell (shin) are all out for Wednesday night’s home game against the Pistons, and Ben Simmons ($6,000; calf/back) is questionable after missing three straight. Even if Simmons plays, he doesn’t usually command high usage, so there are plenty of cheap options who should get good usage. Like on Monday, the Nets’ team total isn’t high, but the individual players come cheap enough to be excellent value pieces.
Core Plays: In the Nets’ depleted offense, Keon Johnson ($5,800) has been one of the top options. He has 39 and 31 DraftKings points in his last two games. He came near a triple-double with 15 points, eight rebounds, and eight assists against the Sixers on Saturday and had four steals against the Pacers, showing he has potential in that category as well. Ziaire Williams ($5,000) is still ramping back up after an extended absence but has also had over 30 DraftKings points in each of his last two contests while Tyrese Martin ($4,600) has brought scoring upside but not many non-scoring contributions.
Value Options: The Nets don’t have a lot of options left, but that makes the options they do have good values. Day’Ron Sharpe ($4,400) was a great play in my Monday stacks, contributing 41.25 fantasy points on 16 points, 13 rebounds, and five assists in just 22 minutes. He’s a great value again on Wednesday, along with Noah Clowney ($4,400) and potentially Tosan Evbuomwan ($3,100), who had great numbers in the G League and has played 20+ minutes in each of his two games since signing a two-way deal with Brooklyn. Sharpe is my favorite value from Brooklyn, but Evbuomwan is extremely affordable.
