It’s been a tough run for the Heat as of late and things are only getting more bleak. After falling in overtime to the Kings on Monday, Miami might now be without its leading scorer on the second night of a back-to-back set. Tyler Herro is questionable to suit up against the Warriors due to a left knee bruise.
To suggest that Herro’s potential absence would leave a void in the Heat’s rotation would be a massive understatement. Remember, this is a team currently playing without suspended All-Star Jimmy Butler. In last evening’s loss to Sacramento, Herro led Miami in minutes (48.8), points (26), field goal attempts (25) and usage rate (26.0%).
If Herro is eventually ruled out, Terry Rozier would likely take over as the Heat’s lead guard, with Duncan Robinson and Nikola Jovic both candidates to move back into the starting five. With Herro and Butler off the floor in 2024-25, bam Adebayo leads Miami with a 24.0% usage rate and he averages 1.17 FPTS per minute played — also a team-high.
