UPDATE: Zion Williamson will be available for tonight’s contest against Minnesota.
Though he’ll surely be on some sort of minutes restriction, Williamson should be the focal point of the Pelicans’ offensive attack — especially if Dejounte Murray is unable to play through his questionable tag. In the six games he’s appeared in this season, Williamson owns a massive 34.6% usage rate and is averaging 1.38 FPTS per minute logged. It’s probably too risky to pay Williamson’s $9,000 price tag on DraftKings this evening, yet he’ll be viable soon enough. — Garion Thorne
Williamson has not played since November 6th with a hamstring issue but is listed as questionable for Tuesday’s game against the Timberwolves. Dejounte Murray (elbow) is also listed as questionable, while Trey Murphy III has been ruled out with an ankle injury. Williamson’s return will be welcomed, as New Orleans has only won seven games this season. On the season, he is averaging 22.7 points, 5.3 assists and eight rebounds per game.
