The Phoenix Suns are in disarray, losing seven of their previous eight games. They are 15-18 and 12th in the Western Conference. Meanwhile, the Philadelphia 76ers have won five of their last seven games. The Suns beat the Sixers 118-116 on November 4. Tonight, the two teams will face off at 7:00 p.m. ET.
Although the Suns’ core has failed to build continuity, future Hall-of-Famer Kevin Durant is still averaging 27.6 points, 6.6 rebounds, and four assists in his 18th season. Here is my favorite prop bet for Durant against the Sixers.
Kevin Durant over 25.5 points (-110)
Durant had his way against Philadelphia in November, scoring 35 points and eight rebounds on 14-20 shooting from the field. In two of his last three games vs. the Sixers, Durant has scored at least 30 points. He scored over 25.5 points in five of his previous eight games against Philly. Durant is -110 on DraftKings Sportsbook to total 26 or more points tonight.
He has reached this mark six times in the previous eight games. In December, Durant averaged 28.8 points per game in 10 contests. Durant is shooting over 50 percent from the field and more than 40 percent on three-pointers this season.
This year, Durant has the 11th-highest usage rating at 31. Although the Suns are struggling, one thing you can rely on is Durant scoring the ball at a high level. Durant always finds a way to make an impact on offense, and he has attempted at least 19 field goals in seven of the last nine games. Getting Durant at -110 to hit his scoring over is excellent, considering he has 30-point potential any night.
