The Texans take on the Titans in an AFC South divisional battle to end the regular season. Here are the best Nico Collins prop bets to explore on DraftKings Sportsbook.
Nico Collins Prop Bets
Here are Collins’ current prop bet lines at DraftKings Sportsbook: Collins is +185 to score a touchdown, +1500 to score 2+ touchdowns and +800 to score the first touchdown of the game.
Collins missed a significant chunk of the season with an injury but when he’s been on the field, he has continued to prove that he is one of the best receivers in the league. The Texans have had injury problems all season, including losing Stefon Diggs to a season-ending injury. Diggs was supposed to offset the defensive attention that Collins normally attracts but the duo barely got to play together. That being said, Collins still ranks fourth in the NFL in receiving yards per game behind only Ja’Marr Chase, Justin Jefferson and Puka Nacua.
The Texans’ offense has been struggling the past few weeks. They have faced the Ravens and Chiefs in back-to-back weeks and were forced to play on Christmas Day so their schedule was totally thrown off. However, even that does not excuse how off their offense has looked. C.J. Stroud has been in a “sophomore slump” most of the year, and there is no fluidity to their offense. That is part of the reason that DeMeco Ryans is starting all of his healthy players in Week 18 despite them being locked into the No. 4 seed. Nothing can change for the Texans in terms of their playoff seeding but Ryans is prioritizing his team finding some form and gaining some confidence rather than getting them extra rest.
The Texans are playing this game with no consequences for their playoff positioning, but this is a revenge game from earlier this season. The Titans embarrassed the Texans in Houston so they will want to avenge that loss while finding their offensive fluidity again. With the emphasis in this game on finding their offensive fluidity, Stroud should look to Collins early and often. The Titans defense played well earlier in the season but over the past two months, they have been quite poor. Since Week 11, Tennessee ranks 25th in defensive EPA/dropback and 29th in defensive dropback success rate. Collins had a big game the last time these teams faced, going for 92 yards and a score. I expect Collins to find the end zone again so I am betting on him to score a touchdown at favorable odds of +185.
Pick: Nico Collins Anytime Touchdown (+185)
