The Wizards and Pelicans finish their back-to-back on Sunday evening, but the Wizards will be shorthanded with both Jordan Poole (hip) and Bilal Coulibaly (illness) ruled out for Washington’s home game. While Malcolm Brogdon ($5,900) and Bub Carrington ($4,700) will get more work in the backcourt, Coulibaly’s absence also opens work on the wing for Justin Champagnie ($4,900), who has been a solid part of the team’s rotation since joining the team in mid-December.

SF/PF Justin Champagnie vs. New Orleans Pelicans, $4,900
The 23-year-old has played 15 games for the Wiz this season and has started each of the last 12 games for Washington while Kyle Kuzma ($5,800) has worked his way back from a rib injury. Kuzma is back to near a full workload, but Champagnie has stayed in the starting five and contributed good numbers. Coulibaly missed Friday’s game as well, allowing Kuz back into the starting five alongside Champagnie.
Champagnie finished that game with 12 points and a solid 27.75 fantasy points in 30 minutes. He has at least 21 fantasy points in five of his last six games and is averaging 25.4 fantasy points per game on the season.
Last week against the Knicks, Champagnie also showed a very nice ceiling, going off for 31 points, ten rebounds, and 51.5 fantasy points. While that isn’t his normal level of production, it does show his potential if he catches fire again on Sunday in a very favorable matchup against the Pelicans.
With more minutes and shots available in the absence of Poole and Coulibaly, Champagnie is a good value play under $5,000 on Sunday’s five-game slate.
