Jordan Love best prop bets for Packers vs. Bears in Week 18

The Packers host the Bears on Sunday to close out the regular season against their division rivals. Here are some Jordan Love prop bets to consider at DraftKings Sportsbook.

Jordan Love prop bets

Here are Love’s current prop bet odds at DraftKings Sportsbook: o/u 212.5 passing yards and o/u 1.5 passing touchdowns. Love is +475 to score a touchdown, +5000 to score 2+ touchdowns and +2000 to score the first touchdown of the game.

Love had had an up-and-down season. He dealt with an injury early on and missed a few games but was playing at a really high level for a stretch in the middle of the season. On the negative side, he has dealt with interception issues throughout the year and has really struggled with his accuracy. In a pivotal game against Minnesota last week, Love was really not at his best. The Vikings have one of the best defenses in the NFL but at this point in the season, those are the defenses Love needs to be beating if the Packers want to win in the postseason.

One thing Love has done brilliantly this season, as he did last season, is pushing the ball down the field. Love ranks third among qualified quarterbacks in air yards per attempt and fourth in yards per completion. Love has a plethora of weapons at his disposal and they have been able to connect on deep shots all season. The Packers have three pass-catchers in the top 20 in the NFL in yards per catch this season, including Christian Watson who ranks second in the league with 21.4 yards per catch. The Bears’ pass defense has been terrible in the second half of the season. Since Week 10, they rank 30th in defensive EPA/dropback and 31st in defensive dropback success rate.

The last time these two teams faced, Love was able to take advantage of that vulnerable Chicago secondary. Love only attempted 17 passes in the game but had 261 passing yards. That comes out to 15.4 yards per attempt, just an absurd mark to hit across an entire game. That is good enough for the second-most yards per attempt (min. 15 attempts) in an NFL game this season. That is why my favorite prop bet for this game is for Love’s longest completion to be over 35.5 yards. Love has cleared that number in 11 of 14 games this season, including a 60-yard completion in that first matchup against Chicago. Love should be able to clear that number one more time against a struggling Chicago defense.

Pick: Jordan Love Longest Completion o35.5 Yards (-120)
