Lamar Jackson best prop bets against the Browns in Week 18

The Ravens host the Browns in a divisional battle to end the regular season. Here are some Lamar Jackson prop bets to consider at DraftKings Sportsbook.

Lamar Jackson Prop Bets

Here are Lamar Jackson’s current prop bet odds at DraftKings Sportsbook: o/u 207.5 passing yards, o/u 44.5 rushing yards, and o/u 1.5 passing TDs. Jackson is +170 to score a rushing or receiving touchdown in the game.

Lamar Jackson is having another MVP-level season for the Ravens. He already has two NFL MVPs, including last season’s, and he is looking to make it back-to-back this season. Jackson is currently second in the MVP race, measured by the odds at DraftKings Sportsbook. Josh Allen is the -300 favorite to win the award, while Jackson is +225. Joe Burrow is the next-closest candidate at +1600, meaning it’s really a two-horse race between Allen and Jackson.

The MVP is a regular season award, so this weekend is the two quarterbacks’ final chance to make their case. Josh Allen and the Bills have long since clinched the AFC East and are locked into the #2 seed in the AFC. Josh Allen is expected to get the start on Sunday to extend his consecutive streak of games started, but will quickly see the bench. So, Allen is very unlikely to further his case for the MVP. That allows Jackson, in a standalone spot on Saturday afternoon, to put on a glorious display to make his case for the MVP.

The Ravens can clinch the AFC North with a win in this game, and it will be tough to make a case for Jackson to win the MVP if the Ravens don’t even win their division. That shouldn’t be much of a problem as the Ravens are 19-point favorites at DraftKings Sportsbook, the largest point spread in the NFL this season. With a joint effort at quarterback from Dorian Thompson-Robinson and Bailey Zappe, Cleveland is unlikely to score many points. That should allow the Ravens to have some fun and really let it fly on offense.

My favorite prop bet for this game is for Jackson to go over 1.5 passing touchdowns. Jackson has had two or more passing touchdowns in five straight games and in nine of his past ten games. The Browns actually upset the Ravens earlier this season when they had Jameis Winston starting at quarterback. So there are many layers of motivation in this game. The Ravens can clinch the division while getting revenge against a division rival for a prior loss this season, and Lamar Jackson has a final chance to strengthen his MVP case. The Cleveland secondary ranks 20th in defensive EPA/dropback and Jackson should easily throw two or more touchdowns for the sixth straight game.

Pick: Lamar Jackson o1.5 Passing Touchdowns (-140)
