Kyrie Irving missed Monday’s game due to shoulder soreness. He returned for Wednesday’s contest and played 37 minutes, contributing 16 points, seven rebounds, two assists, three steals and two blocks.
He has been ruled out for Friday’s game against the Cleveland Cavaliers due to an illness.

Spencer Dinwiddie should get the start for Irving. On Monday, he played 36 minutes and produced 30 points, three rebounds, six assists and one steal. That was against the Sacramento Kings, though. Friday’s matchup against the Cavaliers is much more daunting as Cleveland is sixth in defensive efficiency. They are seventh in pace, though, so there could still be some opportunities for fantasy goodies.
