UPDATE: Harden has been ruled out.
After not initially being listed on the Clippers’ injury report, James Harden has been downgraded to questionable for Thursday’s tilt against the Thunder.
It almost goes without saying, but Harden missing tonight’s contest would leave a massive hole in Los Angeles’ rotation. The All-Star leads the Clippers in both minutes per game (33.9) and usage rate (30.4%).
Harden has only missed one game in 2024-25 — an 11-point loss to the Rockets back on December 8. Kevin Porter Jr. started that evening for Los Angeles, finishing with 19 points and six assists in 37.4 minutes. Bones Hyland also scored 22 points off the bench in 27.8 minutes of action. With Harden off the floor this season, Porter’s 29.6% usage rate ranks second of the roster to only Norman Powell (32.5%).
If Harden isn’t available versus the Thunder, despite the difficult matchup, Porter Jr. and Hyland will be fantastic value options on DraftKings at their modest price tags.
