UPDATE: McBride is questionable to play due to a hamstring issue.
Jalen Brunson entered Wednesday as questionable for the game against the Utah Jazz. He was eventually ruled out and Miles McBride was announced as the Knicks’ starter. Head coach Tom Thibodeau had other ideas, though, as he made a last-minute change and inserted Cameron Payne into the starting lineup.
No reason, as of yet, has been given for the change. McBride was not on the bench at the start of the game.
