Late in Wednesday’s game against the Orlando Magic, Ivey and Cole Anthony both dove for a loose ball near the top of the key. Unfortunately, Ivey’s left leg got caught underneath Anthony’s body and got bent in an awkward position. Ivey had to be moved to the locker room on a stretcher.
Prior to exiting, Ivey contributed 22 points, a rebound, four assists and a steal in 27 minutes. Malik Beasley and Ausar Thompson will likely see extended playing time going further.
