The Philadelphia 76ers are in Northern California to face the Sacramento Kings on the first night of a back-to-back. The Sixers face the Kings at 10:00 p.m. ET before taking on the Warriors tomorrow night.
Since Sixers star C Joel Embiid is out because he doesn’t play back-to-backs, all eyes will be on Tyrese Maxey. He is starting to heat up, scoring 32 or more points in four of his previous seven games. Here is my favorite prop bet for Tyrese Maxey against the Kings tonight.
Tyrese Maxey over 27.5 points (-120)
Maxey has excelled when he has attempted 20 plus field goals in a game this season. Maxey had five games in December with more than 27.5 points. He is -120 on DraftKings Sportsbook to score at least 28 points against the Kings.
In his last two games without Embiid, Mazey has scored 27 and 40 points. However, he has hit his scoring total three times in the last six contests without Embiid. Maxey is averaging 25.8 points this month, 2.7 more than in November. The Sixers haven’t played the Kings yet this year, but Maxey has had success in the past against them. He has scored 29 or more points in two of the previous three games against Sacramento.
This is a good time to face the Kings, especially without Embiid. The Kings have lost six of their last seven games. Sacramento has allowed at least 28 points to a single player in three of their previous four games. If Maxey attempts 23 or more field goals tonight, he will have a great chance to total more than 27.5 points. He has hit his scoring total in the last four games in which he has done so.
