The 2024 PGA Championship tees off this week from Valhalla Golf Club in Louisville, Kentucky. The second major of the year features a full 156-golfer field, and will run from Thursday, May 16 through Sunday, May 19. Brooks Koepka won the Wanamaker Trophy last year at Oak Hill, and Scottie Scheffler enters as the favorite after taking home the green jacket in April.

Rory McIlroy +750
McIlroy feels poised to make his way back into the conversation. The Irish golfer has not won a major since 2014, when he won both the Open Championship and the PGA Championship — the latter of which was at Valhalla. As he returns to Louisville, McIlroy is on a two-tournament winning streak. He won the Zurich Classic and followed up the team victory with a dominant win at the Wells Fargo in Charlotte.
He has succeeded at Valhalla once before, and leads the PGA Championship field in Strokes Gained: Off the Tee over the last three months. Can he find himself back on top — and more importantly, can he hold onto the lead once he gets there?
Max Homa +3500
Homa put together an impressive performance at the Masters in April, finishing tied for third, and followed that up with a T8 finish at the Wells Fargo last week. Homa’s results at signature events and majors over the past year have fluctuated, but has put together three top 20 finishes at the PGA TOUR’s elevated events this season. He ranks seventh in the field in total strokes gained over the past six months.
Wyndham Clark +4500
Clark is the fourth-ranked golfer in the Official World Golf Rankings heading into the PGA Championship, and is on the hunt for his second career major after winning the 2023 U.S. Open. Clark has grabbed top three finishes at the RBC Heritage, the Arnold Palmer Invitational, and THE PLAYERS Championship this year, and ranks third in the field in total strokes gained over the last three months. Clark comes in at a very good price here given his high ceiling.
