Bulls SG/SF Zach LaVine was a late scratch for Monday’s game vs. the Hornets with a toe injury. Now, he’s been listed questionable for Wednesday’s matchup with the Wizards.
LaVine is leading the Bulls with a 25.9% usage rate this season and if he remains sidelined, all of Chicago’s key players will see boosts, most notably Coby White, Josh Giddey and Nikola Vucevic.
With LaVine inactive Monday, White nearly triple-doubled with 23 points, 10 rebounds, and nine assists. Giddey posted a 13-point and 12-rebound double-double, and Vucevic posted a double-double of his own with 16 points and 13 rebounds.
With LaVine off the floor this season, White leads the Bulls with a 26.9% usage rate, which is a team-high 3.4 percentage point increase from his average.
In arguably the best possible matchup Chicago could ask for — a Washington team which ranks fourth in pace and second-to-last in defensive efficiency — all of White, Giddey and Vucevic will be great DFS targets and players to attack for overs on props, especially if LaVine sits again.
With LaVine inactive this season, the Bulls are 2-3.
