The 2025 PGA TOUR season kicks off this week with the Sentry at the Plantation Course (par 73, 7,596 yards, Bermuda greens) of the Kapalua Resort in Lahaina, Hawaii. The field features 60 players and there will be no cut.
Below, I have featured my favorite Max Greyserman bet to consider for the Sentry.
Max Greyserman for a Top-10 Finish (+330)
Very few players head to Hawaii in better form than Greyserman. After finishing runner-up at the ZOZO Championship in October, the 29-year-old finished T-4th at the World Wide Technology Championship in November in his next start. Greyserman gained over 13 strokes at both of these events and he shot -2 or better in all eight of his rounds during this stretch.
Seeing the Duke product contend in the fall swing wasn’t a surprise, as Greyserman carded back-to-back runner-up finishes at the 3M Open and the Wyndham Championship in the summer. Overall, he has finished inside the top-five in four of his last six starts and Greyserman currently sits at a career-best No. 34 in the world golf rankings, which is a massive leap from the No. 184 spot he owned to begin last season.
Greyserman ranks first in total strokes gained when we compare this field’s last 24 rounds and while this will be his first attempt at the Plantation Course, Greyserman has the tools to succeed at this track. The greens at the Plantation Course are the largest of any PGA TOUR venue, making putting extremely important at this par 73. Three of the past four victors at the Plantation Course have led their fields in SGP, which bodes well for Greyserman, who finished second on the PGA TOUR in the metric last season. Also, Greyserman finished 11th in BOB% and he should thrive in the low scoring conditions at the Plantation Course. This seaside track notoriously yields very low numbers, with each of the last four winners here finishing -25 or better.
A top-10 finish for Greyserman is a strong possibility this week and he is a must-bet at this appealing +330 price on DraftKings Sportsbook.
