The 49ers are hosting the Lions for Week 17’s edition of Monday Night Football. On DraftKings Sportsbook, Detroit is favored by 3.5 points and this game presents a total of 50.5 points.

Below, I have featured my favorite Brock Purdy prop to consider from this contest.

Brock Purdy O 253.5 Passing Yards (-115)

Purdy has thrown for over 300 yards in two of his past three starts and the Lions are an excellent matchup for the quarterback. After a strong start to the season, Detroit’s defense has been abysmal recently, allowing a league-high 9.6 yards per pass in their last three games. During this span, quarterbacks facing the Lions have seen the longest time to throw in the league at 3.26 seconds and they are averaging 300.6 passing yards per game.

Ranking third in yards per pass (8.6), Purdy has been extremely efficient this season and the 50.5-point total for this matchup with the Lions is tied for highest total he has competed in this season. Additionally, this is the largest total of Week 17. This game has shootout written all over it and Purdy should be forced to throw it a ton with San Francisco being a 3.5-point underdog on the DraftKings Sportsbook.

Purdy should have no issues exceeding 253.5 passing yards and attacking him for alternate lines is a viable move in this elite spot. For example, Purdy carries very appealing +265 odds on the DraftKings Sportsbook to throw 300+ yards Monday.
