UPDATE: Ford has returned to the game.
With 6:06 left in the second quarter of Sunday’s game against the Miami Dolphins, Ford was lined up between the hashes with the quarterback in shotgun formation. He received the carry and went behind the right tackle for no gain.
Unfortunately, as a defender was tackling him from behind, another defender dove low and struck his lower body.
Ford eventually hopped to the sideline with help, went to the medical tent and is now in the locker room. He is now officially questionable to return.
Prior to exiting, Ford carried six times for 22 yards.
