One of the largest areas of growth has been his impact from beyond the three-point arc. Wembanyama has seen a significant increase in his three-point production this season. He is connecting on 36.1 percent of his long-range attempts and attempting 9.3 shots from the perimeter. He ranks eighth in the league in three-point attempts.
The Spurs will face the Timberwolves tonight. This will feature a matchup with his French counterpart Rudy Gobert. While Gobert has four Defensive Player of the Year awards to his name, he struggles when asked to defend the perimeter.
