First Touchdown Scorer Prediction for Falcons vs. Commanders on Sunday Night Football

Published:

By: Hunter Skoczylas

The Falcons take on the Commanders tonight on Sunday Night Football. We have been blessed by the football gods with a rookie quarterback battle between Michael Penix Jr. and Jayden Daniels. Washington is a 3.5-point home favorite and the game total is set at O/U 46 points on DraftKings Sportsbook.

The weather could be an issue tonight but touchdowns will still be scored and we only care about the first one. Please read below for my favorite first touchdown (TD) scorer prop bet choice for Falcons vs. Commanders.

Atlanta Falcons at Washington Commanders

Brian Robinson Jr. First TD Scorer (+550)

Robinson Jr. leads the backfield of a top offense and hasn’t found the end zone in back-to-back gamesโ€“โ€“he’s hungry. Washington gets going quickly, averaging 6.8 first-quarter points and eight when playing at home. Robinson Jr. has averaged over four first-quarter carries and has already found the end zone first four separate times this season.

The Commanders should be able to move the ball easily and enter the red zone, too. Atlanta’s secondary has its issues but its red zone defense is one major area to exploit. Luckily, BRJ has scored seven of his eight touchdowns within the red zone and leads the team in touches, so he has few obstacles in his way to score the first touchdown of the game.
