The Knicks are visiting the Wizards on Saturday night and have one of the top implied team totals on the slate. It’s a great matchup to attack, but on Saturday afternoon, they added Jalen Brunson ($8,100) to the injury report as questionable with a calf injury. Brunson has yet to miss a game this season, but if he’s sidelined Saturday, there will be plenty of usage and upside available for the rest of his Knicks teammates. Miles McBride ($3,900) would become a great value option to consider for DFS fantasy basketball contests on DraftKings.

While Brunson hasn’t missed a game this season, McBride flourished in the games Brunson missed last season. Brunson missed five regular-season games last season and McBride played an average of 40 minutes a game and produced 34.25 fantasy points per game.
McBride has averaged 20.4 fantasy points per game this season in 24.8 minutes per game. With Brunson off the floor this season, McBride’s usage increased to 17.7% and he has produced a solid 0.96 fantasy points per minute.
McBride had 12 points and 29 fantasy points last week against the Raptors but struggled from the field in his two games since then. His shot has been inconsistent, but even if that continues, he should get enough extra usage to easily return value at the bargain salary.
He also brings a very high ceiling if he gets going, and he showcased his upside against the Timberwolves just over a week ago when he dropped 37.75 fantasy points on 16 points, eight assists and five rebounds.
