Shedeur Sanders has been one of the best quarterbacks in college football this season and he is now the favorite at DraftKings Sportsbook to be the first-overall pick in the 2025 NFL Draft. Sanders finished third in the country in passing yards and passing touchdowns. Now, Sanders will play one final game with his Colorado teammates against BYU in the Alamo Bowl before heading off to the NFL. These teams are both in the Big 12 but did not face each other in the regular season, so this is an exciting matchup.
Colorado head coach Deion Sanders has done a great job of convincing his players to participate in this bowl game. Towards the end of the season, it looked like Colorado would be heading to the Big 12 Championship Game with a chance to make the College Football Playoff, but that was before losing to Kansas in the second-to-last game of the season. They missed out on that game and are now playing in what some call a “meaningless” bowl game. However, Shedeur Sanders, Heisman Trophy winner Travis Hunter and Colorado’s other stars will all be playing in this one.
Sanders will want to put on an incredible display in his final outing for Colorado. That is why my favorite prop for Sanders is for him to throw three or more passing touchdowns. Sanders threw for at least three touchdowns in each of his final four games of the regular season, including five touchdowns in Colorado’s regular-season finale against Oklahoma State. All of Sanders’ top weapons are playing in this game and he should be able to pick apart the BYU defense to hit some explosive plays and at least three touchdowns.
