Here are Bo Nix’s current prop bet odds at DraftKings Sportsbook: o/u 230.5 passing yards and o/u 1.5 passing TDs. Nix is +225 to score a touchdown, +1700 to score 2+ touchdowns and +1600 to score the first touchdown of the game.
Bo Nix has had a really solid rookie season for the Broncos. He has Denver in a position to make the postseason and they can clinch a playoff spot with a win in this game. However, the Bengals are one of the teams chasing them down for those AFC Wildcard positions so if they lose, they put themselves in must-win territory next week. The Broncos do come into this game with extra rest after playing on Thursday night last week. Denver should have a good game plan to attack the Cincinnati defense and make things easy on Bo Nix. Nix has not been able to pull off some of the highlight plays that Jayden Daniels has this season, but he has been a solid game manager for the Broncos.
Nix has a 22-11 TD-INT ratio this season and five of those 11 interceptions came in a two-week stretch of poor play. Nix has been very good with his legs this season and has been able to maneuver the pocket well and be mobile rather than taking bad sacks or forcing bad throws. Luckily for Nix in this game, the Bengals have made it easy for opposing offenses this season. Cincinnati ranks 27th in defensive EPA/play, 20th in defensive EPA/dropback and 22nd in defensive dropback success rate.
My favorite prop bet for this game is for Nix to throw over 1.5 passing touchdowns. You can get this prop at odds of +105 which is a great number when you just need Nix to throw two touchdowns. Nix wasn’t throwing a lot of touchdowns earlier in the season but he has two or more passing touchdowns in five of his past six games. Nix actually didn’t throw a touchdown in any of his first three career games but he is now 10th in the league in passing touchdowns, so it has been a great turnaround. The Bengals rank 27th in opponent passing touchdowns per game and Nix should be able to get at least two in this incredibly pivotal game for Denver.
