Audric Estime +185
Denver Broncos at Cincinnati Bengals

Maybe I’m jumping the gun here but but maybe it’s truly Estime backfield. Following the Broncos loss to the Chargers, coach Sean Payton told reporters “Yeah, I think he has [earned more playing time. I think he played well. I was encouraged with the physicality he ran with, and I think he’ll only get better.” Estime still didn’t log double-digit carries last week but he did start the game and scored on the Broncos opening drive. That’s an encouraging sign, coupled with the postgame comments from Payton.

The Broncos need a win this week to clinch a playoff spot while the Bengals, aren’t dead yet but need A LOT of help. Nonetheless, this is a competitive game for both sides. The Bengals have been very generous to opposing running backs, allowing the fourth-most rushing touchdowns, tied with multiple teams. I’m hoping Estime’s two red zone carries last week is a sign of things to come in a good spot against a flimsy Bengals run defense.

Jake Ferguson +360
Dallas Cowboys at Philadelphia Eagles

This seems like a perfect storm for Ferguson to get into the end zone in Week 17. News came out earlier this week that CeeDee Lamb would miss the final two weeks of the season due to his ongoing shoulder injury. The Cowboys offense just lost their top target earner and now faces one of the best secondaries in the league. So, to help solve that, Cooper Rush could be inclined for these short throws over the middle to his top tight end. The Cowboys will be looking to make up over 10 targets per game that were going to Lamb on a weekly basis. Ferguson is the most logical, especially in this matchup. Taking a shot on him at +360 is worth it.

Brian Thomas Jr. +140
Jacksonville Jaguars vs. Tennessee Titans

Thomas Jr. continues to see massive volume with Mac Jones under center. Thomas Jr is averaging just under 10 targets per game with Jones under center and that should continue on Sunday. The Titans days as a strong defense have completely crumbled and teams have been carving them up. Not saying Jones is going to do that but the opportunities will be there. Thomas Jr has drawn six red zone targets with Jones under center, which is the most on the team. In coverage, Thomas will see a lot of CB Jarvis Brownlee Jr, who’s been getting wrecked lately. In the last matchup in Week 14, Brownlee was targeted against 10 times and allowed 10 catches for 54 yards.
