Knicks vs. Magic Predictions: Player Prop Best Bets

Knicks vs. Magic Predictions: Player Prop Best Bets

The Magic are absolutely decimated right now in the front court, and it’s led to an expanded role for Tristan da Silva. I bet the rookie on his points prop on Thursday night for 2-units, and we cashed that play before halftime. While the number on da Silva’s point prop is on the rise, I don’t think it has been adjusted enough here, particularly with the quick turnaround on the back-to-back.

Paolo Banchero and Franz Wager, the two stars for Orlando, are out long-term. Mo Wagner, who had been stepping up as a scorer in their absence, then went down for the season. It leaves da Silva in a massive role to step up for his team as a scorer. The rookie has now dropped at least 15 points in four of his last five games, and in each of his last two games (which are the only two played without Banchero and both Wagners), da Silva has scored 18 in each outing.

On Thursday against Miami, da Silva played a team-high 38 minutes. I don’t think Orlando will have any issue running the rookie back out there for extended run here on Friday. I’ll keep playing on this market until it feels correctly adjusted.

PLAY: Tristan da Silva OVER 12.5 Points (-125) 1-unit

PLAY: Tristan da Silva 15+ Points (+125) 1-unit
