It’s Bowl Season in college football, and there will be some amazing performances on display. Here is how to bet on those player props on DraftKings Sportsbook.
Pinstripe Bowl: Boston College vs. Nebraska
Grayson James 185+ Passing Yards (-120)
Grayson James took over as the starting quarterback for Boston College for their final three games of the regular season. James found immediate success and led Boston College to two big wins over Pittsburgh and UNC to end the season. I am backing Grayson James to continue that momentum and clear his passing prop for this game. James has cleared this number in all three games and is averaging 227.3 passing yards per game over those three starts. Nebraska ranks 74th in the country in defensive EPA/pass so James should keep the momentum going and clear this number for the fourth straight game.
New Mexico Bowl: Louisiana vs. TCU
Josh Hoover 292+ Passing Yards (-115)
Josh Hoover had a massive season at TCU and will want to finish the year on a positive note. Hoover finished the season seventh in the nation in passing yards with 3,697 yards, which is an average of 308 passing yards per game. Hoover will want to put on a show on the national stage in this bowl game. Louisiana ranks 104th in defensive EPA/drive and 128th in defensive success rate. Josh Hoover will be the best quarterback they have faced all season and he should be able to exploit their weaknesses to get over this number and throw for 300 passing yards once again.
Arizona Bowl: Miami (OH) vs. Colorado State
Brett Gabbert 200+ Passing Yards (+105)
Brett Gabbert is taking the field for the final time after a legendary career at Miami. He will want to leave this program on a positive note and pick up a win and put forward a good performance in this game. Gabbert cleared 200 passing yards in each of his final four regular season games and should keep it going in this game. Colorado State’s defense ranks 88th in defensive EPA/pass and 108th in defensive passing success rate. Gabbert should be able to attack them through the air and clear this number for the fifth time in his past six games.
Alamo Bowl: Colorado vs. BYU
Jake Retzlaff Anytime Touchdown (+110); LaJohntay Wester Anytime Touchdown (-115)
Colorado vs. BYU should be one of the most exciting matchups of Bowl Season. Colorado will have all of their starts on the field including, Shedeur Sanders and Heisman Trophy-winner Travis Hunter. BYU will also have plenty of great players on the field after their great season. This game should turn into a shootout between these two explosive offenses. Colorado’s offense ranks 22nd in the nation in EPA/pass and both offenses rank inside the top-30 in yards per pass attempt.
There should be explosive plays on both sides of this matchup so I am targetting two different touchdown scorers. The Heisman Trophy-winner leads his team in every receiving category but it LaJohntay Wester that ranks second in receptions, receiving yards and touchdowns. Wester has ten touchdowns on the season, including two in the regular-season finale against Oklahoma State. He should be able to grab another one in a big offensive showing for Colorado.
Jake Retzlaff has been the star of this BYU team all season. The dual-threat quarterback was one of the breakout players in all of college football this season. I am backing him to find the end zone on the ground in this game. Retzlaff had five rushing touchdowns in BYU’s final six games of the season. Colorado ranks 70th in defensive EPA/rush and Retzlaff should be able to attack them on the ground.
