Garrett Wilson ($6,100) has been frustrated with his lack of targets recently, and he might get his wish to be more involved in the Jets offense this weekend. Davante Adams is dealing with a hip injury and missed his second straight practice Thursday. It doesn’t bode well for Adams’ chances of playing Sunday vs. the Bills.
Adams has led the Jets with a 30 percent target share since joining the team in Week 7 but if he sits, Wilson will naturally reclaim his role as New York’s main receiver. The 24-year-old has seen a 24.3 percent target share playing alongside Adams but led the team with a 30.3 percent target share for the first six weeks of the season. That ranked ranked fifth in the NFL over this stretch, including 12 red zone targets and six targets over 20 yards.
Wilson generated 17.9 FPTS per game and 0.29 FPTS per snap without Adams, and this Buffalo defense is slipping lately. Over the last three weeks, the Bills are giving up the fourth-most yards per pass in the league (8.4).
At only $6,100 on DraftKings, Wilson would be an awesome DFS target for all formats if Adams sits. Wilson would also be a player to consider for overs on his players props on DraftKings Sportsbook.
