After a down 2023-24 season, the Memphis Grizzlies have returned to their winning ways. They are 20-10 and in third place in the Western Conference this season. Memphis lost to the Los Angeles Clippers by four points on Monday and hosts the Toronto Raptors tonight at 8:00 p.m. ET.
Grizzlies franchise PG Ja Morant has dealt with many injuries over the last two years. But when he is on the court, he can still produce at a high level. Here is my favorite prop bet for Ja Morant against the Raptors tonight.
Ja Morant over 1.5 three-pointers (-120)
Morant played only nine games last season after serving a 25-game suspension and then underwent season-ending shoulder surgery. Due to a back injury, he has played only 18 of the Grizzlies’ 30 games this season. He averages 21.3 points, 7.9 assists, and 4.7 rebounds while playing a career-low 28.1 minutes per game.
He still has the potential to score at an elite level but has yet to find his grove on a nightly basis this season. During his six-year NBA career, Morant has never been known as an elite three-point shooter, but he has improved lately. He has made more than 1.5 three-pointers in six of the last eight games. He has also hit this mark in 10 out of the 18 games this season.
It is -120 on DraftKings Sportsbook for Morant’s over-in three-pointers to hit against the Raptors tonight. Morant has played the Raptors six times during his career so far. He has made over 2.5 threes in half of them while hitting three in their last matchup. Morant still needs to improve the efficiency of his long-range jump shot, but it is an excellent value to get his over at 1.5 three-pointers tonight.
