Bucks PF/C Giannis Antetokounmpo is listed questionable for Thursday’s contest against the Brooklyn Nets due to back spasms.
The 12th-year veteran has missed the Milwaukee’s previous two contests due to the same ailment. The last time he took the court was in a December 20 loss to the Cleveland Cavaliers.
Antetokounmpo is in the midst of an MVP-caliber season, averaging 32.7 points, 11.2 rebounds, and 6.0 assists to go along with over two stocks.
If Antetokounmpo misses Thursday’s matchup, PF/C Bobby Portis will likely be in line for an increased workload. While PG Damian Lillard (questionable, illness) and SG/SF Khris Middleton (probable, ankles) are both on the injury report, each could take on a greater offensive role if Antetokounmpo sits.
The Bucks are currently 9.5-point favorites over the Nets on DraftKings Sportsbook, with -360 odds on the Moneyline.
