Kings center Domantas Sabonis is questionable for Thursday’s contest against the Detroit Pistons due to illness.
The veteran big man popped up on the injury report unexpectedly on Wednesday night. He’s appeared in nearly every game for Sacramento this season, with just two missed outings thus far.
Sabonis’ statistical production is impressive, averaging a career-best 21.1 points to complement 13.5 rebounds and 6.0 assists per contest.
If Sabonis misses Thursday’s matchup, expect Jae Crowder or Isaac Jones to fill the gap at big man in the rotation. Keegan Murray could even slot in as a small-ball five if needed.
The Kings sit 13-17 in what’s been a disappointing campaign. However, they’re currently four-point favorites over the Pistons on DraftKings Sportsbook, with -180 odds on the Moneyline.
