The second game of the first NFL slate on Christmas will feature the 10-5 Baltimore Ravens in Houston. The Ravens will face the 9-6 Texans at 4:30 p.m. ET on Netflix. The Ravens are coming off a big 34-17 victory over the Pittsburgh Steelers, while the Texans lost to the Kansas City Chiefs by eight points.
This matchup has been one-way traffic in the past decade, with the Ravens winning the last five meetings. The Texans have not beaten the Ravens since December 2014.
The Ravens are -5.5 while being-250 on the Moneyline on DraftKings Sportsbook. Houston is +205 on the Moneyline, while the game’s total is set at 56.5 points.
Derrick Henry Anytime Touchdown Scorer (-180)
Everyone thought Henry was finished as an elite RB in the offseason after leaving Tennessee. But even in his ninth season in the NFL at 30 years old, King Henry is still one of the most talented and dominant RBs in the league. He has 1,636 rushing yards, behind only Saquon Barkley.
Henry is coming off his third performance this season of 160 rushing yards or more. Throughout the first 11 games of the season, Henry scored 15 touchdowns with at least one per game. But in the last month, Henry has struggled to find the endzone.
Henry has been a touchdown machine throughout his nine-year career, scoring double-digit touchdowns in the last seven seasons and 103 overall. This is the longest stretch without a touchdown since 2018, his third year in the NFL. Even though he hasn’t scored recently, Henry is still -180 to score one against the Texans.
Lamar Jackson over 263.5 passing and rushing yards (-115)
This season, Jackson is averaging 252.5 passing yards per game while having 3,787 yards through the air, the fifth most in the NFL. He is also averaging 51 rushing yards per contest this year. Jackson has 765 rushing yards, the 25th most in the NFL. He has had at least 760 yards on the ground during the past six seasons.
Yes, Jackson has had 210 or fewer passing yards in three of the previous five games, but he always finds a way to impact the game. Jackson has totaled 263.5 or more passing and rushing yards in 11 of the 15 games this season.
He has also hit this mark in two of the last three games and seven of 10. Jackson had only 229 total yards last week and is bound to bounce back. Jackson is even money (-115) to finish with more than 263.5 passing and rushing yards against the Texans.
Nico Collins over 6.5 receptions (-120)
The fourth-year WR from Michigan has only played 10 games this season but is still on pace to have 1,000 receiving yards. Since he has returned from injury, his production has been up and down. But he has had over 6.5 receptions in two of the previous three games. Last Saturday, Collins caught seven of 10 targets for 60 yards.
With talented second-year WR Tank Dell on the IR with a torn ACL, more opportunities will be available. Collins has had seven or more catches in five of 10 games this season. Even when Dell was on the field, C.J. Stroud has prioritized getting Collins the ball more often. He has had at least 10 targets in two of the past three games.
Getting Collins at -120 to record more than 6.5 receptions on DraftKings Sportsbook is a safe play with Dell sidelined.
