By now you know the drill.
We’ve got five Christmas Day NBA games starting at noon on the east coast. That gives everyone more than enough time to open up presents and eat cookies for breakfast — my personal favorite holiday tradition.
It also gives you some time to build a couple lineups on DraftKings. Here are a couple value options to consider.

SG/SF Devin Vassell, San Antonio Spurs at New York Knicks, $4,900
I’m not exactly breaking news when I say this, but the key for Vassell as a DFS asset is volume. When he’s healthy and playing big minutes, he’s quite valuable, which is why his recent move back into the Spurs’ starting five is so important. In his 14 games in 2024-25, Vassell is producing exactly 1.00 FPTS per minute played. Knowing that, it shouldn’t come as a shock to learn that Vassell is also averaging 33.9 FPTS in the three contests where he’s exceeded 30 minutes on the court — with all three of those games coming in the last two weeks. He’s peaking at the right time for prospective owners and a matchup against a Knicks’ defense that’s sneakily pretty middle-of-the-pack shouldn’t scare anyone off. The cherry on top? This is the first time this season that Vassell’s been priced below $5,000. Take advantage.
PG Monte Morris, Phoenix Suns vs. Denver Nuggets, $3,200
There are two massive question marks on the injury report for the Suns heading into Wednesday’s action: Devin Booker ($9,100; groin) and Grayson Allen ($5,000; concussion). Neither played in Phoenix’s lopsided loss to this same Nuggets team on Monday night, and I have my doubts that either will return on Christmas. If that’s the case, there’s going to be a lot of open minutes in the Suns’ backcourt. It’s been Royce O’Neale ($5,200) starting in place of Booker the past two contests, yet I’m looking a little lower on the depth chart for value in this spot. Morris logged over 20 minutes of work for just the second time this season in that defeat in Denver, registering seven points, four rebounds, three assists and 19.0 FPTS. Morris also sported a 22.7% usage rate — the highest of any Phoenix reserve that saw at least 15 minutes. That might not seem all that amazing, but it’s notable with Morris microscopic price tag.
