The Spurs are visiting the Knicks in New York on Christmas day. On DraftKings Sportsbook, the Knicks are a nine-point favorite with a game total of 224 points.

Victor Wembanyama U 33.5 Points + Rebounds (-110)

While Wembanyama’s recent game log looks great, this is a difficult spot for him against the Knicks in New York. The Knicks rank dead-last in pace and 14th in defensive efficiency this season. New York has been particularly strong at slowing down centers, giving up the fewest rebounds and the fifth-fewest points to the position.

Wembanyama also has shown a tendency to struggle when on the road. This season, the 20-year-old is averaging 22.4 points and 9.5 rebounds per game when away from San Antonio. Notably, his 22.4 PPG scoring average on the road is four points lower than what Wembanyama averages on his home floor.

On DraftKings Sportsbook, the Spurs present a 107.5-point implied team total — the second-lowest of the 10 NBA teams competing on Christmas, and they are nine-point underdogs. In the five instances he has competed as a road underdog this season, Wembanyama has only topped 33.5 points + rebounds twice.

Wembanyama should fall short of this 33.5 PTS + REB line in the hostile environment of Madison Square Garden, so this under is a sharp bet for Christmas Day.
