The Mavs have won 10 of their last 12 games while being 19-10 and in fourth place in the Western Conference. Dallas beat Minnesota by six points in their only matchup this season.
The Timberwolves’ best player, Anthony Edwards, has had some highs and lows this season. He is averaging 25.3 points, 5.5 rebounds, and four assists on 41.4 percent shooting on three-point shots. Here is my favorite prop bet for Anthony Edwards against the Mavericks on Christmas.

Edwards has had an up-and-down season so far. He is attempting 0.4 more field goals and 3.3 more three-pointers per game, but his scoring average has decreased. He started the season on fire with four 30-point performances in the first 10 games. But in the last 10 games, Edwards has only had over 24.5 points three times. He has scored under 20 points in the previous three games.
In the 28 games he has appeared in, Edwards has scored 25 or more points in 15 contests. Getting his under at -110 on DraftKings Sportsbook is a good value play when evaluating his recent performances. On October 29, Edwards dropped 37 points against the Mavericks. But that was in the first month of the season, and since then, Edwards’ field goal percentage has declined each month.
In December, Edwards averaged 20.2 points while shooting 42.2 percent from the field and 37.5 percent from deep. It will be hard to back him nightly until he can hit shots at a high level, as he did earlier in the season.
