UPDATE 1:34 p.m. ET: The Eagles just released word that Jalen Hurts is currently being evaluated for a concussion in the locker room. Kenny Pickett will remain at quarterback for the meanwhile against this Washington Commanders’ defense in a potential division-clinching game.

There was a brief period during which Hurts exited the medical tent and had his helmet on, appearing to prepare to re-enter the game to finish off the scoring drive. However, the training staff motioned to him to follow them back to the bench, and eventually to the locker room.
In the time since, Kenny Pickett has thrown an interception, and the Washington Commanders scored a touchdown off that turnover.

In a game that has major NFC East division implications, Jalen Hurts left the game during a red zone drive for the Philadelphia Eagles. He was escorted off the field by trainers after his head landed awkwardly on a designed quarterback run that got the Eagles into the red zone.
For now, Kenny Pickett is quarterbacking the Eagles as this potential scoring drive against the Washington Commanders rolls on. Jalen Hurts is headed to the locker room.
Prior to his exit, Hurts had completed one pass on four completions, but rushed for 41 yards on three attempts.
