NFL Best Bets: Russell Wilson prop bets against the Ravens

The Steelers are visiting the Ravens in Week 16, with the two teams still fighting for the crown in the AFC North. On DraftKings Sportsbook, Pittsburgh is a 6.5-point road underdog, despite having the better record and having defeated Baltimore back in Week 11.

Below, I have featured my favorite Russell Wilson prop to consider from this contest.

Russell Wilson Under 29.5 Pass Attempts (-125)

The weather isn’t actually going to be as bad as you might expect for a December 21 contest in Baltimore, yet it is supposed to be a little windy on Saturday. That could be more than enough reason for the Steelers to try and limit their passing attack, especially considering the team doesn’t seem all that interesting in moving the ball through the air even in the best of circumstances.

Entering Week 16, Pittsburgh owns the AFC’s lowest pass rate at just 48.9%. This is a squad that defines itself with its elite defense and consistent ability to win the turnover battle. In Russell Wilson’s eight starts in 2024, he’s thrown the ball 29 or fewer times on six occasions. It’s also worth remembering that the Steelers will once again be without their top receiver in George Pickens. With Pickens sidelined the past two games, Wilson has averaged a paltry 143.0 passing yards on 24.0 attempts. Again, this team does not want to throw the football.

Barring an incredibly lopsided script, look for Wilson to hit this under with ease.
