The Chiefs are hosting the Texans in Kansas City on Saturday. On DraftKings Sportsbook, the Chiefs are favored by 3.5 points and this game’s total is set at 42 points.

Below, I have featured my favorite Travis Kelce prop to consider from this contest.

Best Travis Kelce Prop Bets on DraftKings Sportsbook

Travis Kelce Over 48.5 Receiving Yards (-115)

Patrick Mahomes (ankle) is trending towards playing after getting a full practice in on both Tuesday and Wednesday. As such, Travis Kelce needs to be backed for this over.

Rashee Rice (knee) went down for the season four snaps into the Chiefs’ Week 4 matchup vs. the Chargers and, when including this game, Kelce is averaging 58.2 receiving yards per contest in these past 11 sans Rice.

Kelce has cleared 48.5 receiving yards in seven of these 11 games and his usage has been excellent during this stretch, with Kelce leading Kansas City in target share (27.5%) and route rate (88%).

The Texans are giving up the second-fewest yards per pass (5.9), but they are using cover-four coverage at the third-highest clip in the league and Kelce has been highly efficient against this type of coverage this season, catching 18 of his 21 targets.

Lastly, this game will be at home in Kansas City. On his home turf this season, Kelce is averaging 9.0 more receiving yards per game than when on the road. The veteran has topped 48.5 receiving yards in four of his five home starts since Rice went down. This receiving line is simply too low for Kelce.
