The Oklahoma City Thunder have had a great season. They are 21-5 and in first place in the Western Conference. On Tuesday, they lost to the Milwaukee Bucks in the NBA Cup Final but followed that up with a six-point victory over the Orlando Magic. They face the 13-11 Miami Heat tonight, who have won four of their previous five games.
Jalen Williams, the Thunder’s second-best player, has been a big part of this incredible start. He is averaging a career-high 21.3 points per game, along with 5.9 rebounds, 5.1 assists, and 1.9 steals. Here is my favorite prop bet for Jalen Williams against the Heat tonight.

Williams’s surge in scoring isn’t the only area in which he has improved. He went from averaging 4.5 assists per game to 5.1 this season. Williams is coming off a game vs. the Magic, where he had seven assists. He has hit his over-in assists in three of the last five games and six of the previous 10. During the 26 games Williams has played, he has hit this mark 16 times. Williams is second in assists per game behind SGA (6.3) on the Thunder. The Heat allow 27 assists per game to opponents, the 11th most in the NBA. The Thunder have not played this season, but Williams has had five or more assists in two of the last three matchups between the two teams.
Although Williams has improved as a rebounder and scorer this season, he hasn’t been very consistent in both areas. Considering his growth as a playmaker this season, Getting Williams at -120 is a good value play.
