The Broncos are visiting the Chargers for an AFC West matchup on Thursday Night Football. On DraftKings Sportsbook, Los Angeles is a 2.5-point favorite and this game carries a total of 42 points.

Bo Nix Over 20.5 Completions (-125)

Bo Nix has surpassed this number in four of his past seven starts and the quarterback is a strong bet to top 20.5 completions again in this appealing matchup vs. the Chargers.

After a great start to their season, Los Angeles’ defense has been susceptible to the pass recently. Over the last five weeks, the Chargers are allowing the fifth-most completions per game in the NFL (22.8) and four of the five quarterbacks they have faced during this time have recorded at least 22 completions. In fact, even the struggling Kirk Cousins, who was just recently benched, completed 24 passes when he faced Los Angeles earlier this month.

The Broncos rank seventh in pass rate over expectation with Nix under center this season and the rookie will likely be forced to air it out Thursday, with Denver a 2.5-point road underdog vs. the Chargers.

Nix should clear his 20.5-completion line in this spot and is a smart bet for this over.
