Best Courtland Sutton prop bet for Broncos vs. Chargers

The Broncos are visiting the Chargers for Thursday Night Football of Week 16. On DraftKings Sportsbook, Los Angeles is favored by three points and this game’s total is set at 42 points.

Below, I have featured my favorite Courtland Sutton prop to consider from this contest.

Best Courtland Sutton Prop Bets on DraftKings Sportsbook

Courtland Sutton O 67.5 Receiving Yards (-115)

After being held to 32 yards this past Sunday vs. the Colts, Sutton should get back on track vs. the Chargers and top this receiving line. While his performance was underwhelming vs. Indianapolis, Sutton’s usage remained strong, with him leading the Broncos with nine targets and a 28.1% target share.

Across the Broncos’ last seven games, Sutton is leading the team with a 28.6% target share and a 91% route rate. Furthermore, 14 of his targets have been over 20 yards and Sutton has seen a 13.6 aDOT. During this seven-game span, Sutton is averaging 6.4 catches and 85.6 receiving yards per game, and he has exceeded 67.5 receiving yards in all but one of these seven starts.

Denver ranks seventh in pass rate over expectation this season, and they should be forced into a pass heavy game plan as three-point underdogs vs. the Chargers on the DraftKings Sportsbook. Plus, Los Angeles’ defense has been vulnerable as of late, with them giving up the eighth-most yards per pass in the league in their last three games (7.0). Just last Sunday vs. the Buccaneers, Mike Evans torched the Chargers for 159 receiving yards. Tampa Bay’s No. 2 receiver in Jalen McMillan finished with 75 receiving yards. Both of these marks were season highs.

In this appealing spot, Sutton is a great investment to go over his 67.5-receving yard prop on the DraftKings Sportsbook.
