Why Kyle Pitts is in Position to go OVER his Receiving Prop on MNF vs. Raiders

Kyle Pitts hasn’t exactly done much lately (or in his career) to earn the trust of prop bettors or fantasy players. After a decent start to the season, Pitts has now finished four of his last five games with 14 receiving yards or less. The targets have been there at times too, as Pitts was thrown to six times last week in Minnesota. But the tight end and Kirk Cousins just haven’t been on the same page, as they connected on just one of those six attempts.

I backed Pitts to go over his receiving yards prop back in September against the Chiefs, which is a spot I’ve targeted often this season due to Kansas City allowing the most yards to the tight end position. Pitts got the job done with 59 yards, and it sparked a run in which he went for 55-plus yards in six of eight games. On MNF, Pitts now get a matchup against the third-worst defense against the position, and I’m projecting him to breakout of a slump once again.

I backed this spot last week with Cade Otton facing the Raiders, and he easily cleared his prop with 70 yards. Otton is just the most recent tight end to smash his prop against Vegas in recent weeks, with Travis Kelce going for 68 yards (including 58 in the same game from Noah Gray) and 90 yards in two recent matchups with the Chiefs. Vegas also allowed a pair of 100-yard games from tight ends recently, allowing Jonnu Smith and Mike Gesicki over that mark.

With Pitts struggling, we get a massive discount on his yardage in this game, priced at just 27.5 — a full 40 yards below what tight ends average against the Raiders. I’ll buy-low on Pitts to breakout on the MNF stage in Vegas.

PLAY: Kyle Pitts OVER 27.5 Receiving Yards (-120) 1-unit
