A few things are guaranteed in life: death, taxes, and Nikola Jokić putting up ridiculous numbers. The three-time Most Valuable Player has had to carry the Denver Nuggets more than he ever has before, dragging them to a 13-10 record with ridiculous averages of 31.5 points, 13.3 rebounds, and 9.8 assists per game.
Denver is currently on a two-game win streak and sit fifth in the crowded Western Conference standings after blowing out the LA Clippers on December 13. The Nuggets will try to make that three tonight as they travel to Sacramento to take on the 13-13 Kings, who are on a three-game win streak of their own.
On DraftKings Sportsbook, Denver (+105) is a slight underdog, with the point total set at 237.5. Below, I’ve highlighted my favorite prop bets centered around The Joker.
Best Nikola Jokić Prop Bets on DraftKings Sportsbook
Nikola Jokić U12.5 Rebounds (-125)
Jokić is an all-time great rebounder — his 19.2% career rebounding percentage ranks 19th all-time — having one of the better rebounding seasons of his career. Unfortunately for him, he’ll be going against a player who’s arguably even more better on the boards. Kings center Domantas Sabonis has an 18.9% career rebounding percentage that lags slightly behind Jokić, but he has led the league in the category each of the past two seasons and ranks third this year, behind only Jokić and New York’s Karl-Anthony Towns.
As a team, Sacramento allows opponents to snag just 41.8 rebounds per game, the fifth-fewest of any team in the league. Sabonis is in particularly hot form, having snagged 20 rebounds in a win over the New Orleans Pelicans on December 12, tied for the third-most prolific single-game rebounding performance this season. Meanwhile, Jokić pulled down a season-low seven boards in the win over the Clippers while contending with LA big Ivica Zubac, another of the league’s premier rebounders. In 17 career games against Sabonis, Jokić has averaged just 9.6 boards.
Nikola Jokić 3+ Three-Pointers Made (+205)
Arguably the wildest stat from this brilliant Jokić season is his prowess from three. He’s always been a good shooter, leading the league in true shooting percentage in 2022-23 and ranking 21st among players playing at least 20 minutes per game this season. In 2024-25, he’s compensated for worse-than-usual two-point efficiency by ranking fifth among all players shooting at least three attempts from deep per game with scathing 51.2% accuracy. Jokić has hit at least three three-pointers in three of his last five games.
Meanwhile, the Kings have allowed opponents to launch 40.3 three-point attempts per game, and they’re going in at a 37.9% clip, both bottom-five marks in the league. Sacramento is exceptional at manning the middle, allowing the fewest attempts from within eight feet, so with his typical advantage in the post neutralized, expect Jokić to fire away from beyond the arc.
