UPDATE as of 4:26 p.m. ET: Browns RB Nick Chubb (foot) has been diagnosed with a broken foot, per head coach Kevin Stefanski.
UPDATE: The Browns have ruled out Nick Chubb for the remainder of the game with the foot injury shortly following his trip to the medical tent.
Midway through the third quarter of the Cleveland Browns’ matchup with the Kansas City Chiefs, Nick Chubb left the game and limped directly to the medical tent. It is officially being called a foot injury.

Before leaving the game, Chubb had rushed the ball nine times for 41 yards. He was unable to pull in the lone pass attempt thrown his direction. In his absence, Jerome Ford will step up as the primary running back.
It has been a long path back from injury for Chubb so this is unfortunate news in many ways. He suffered a gruesome knee injury in Week 2 of last season and was unable to return to the field until Week 7 of this season. Across the seven games he had played leading into this game, Chubb recorded 93 carries for 291 yards and three touchdowns.
Hopefully, this injury is not remotely near the same severity and he is able to return to the field soon. More updates will be provided as the information becomes available.
