UPDATE 1:56 p.m. ET: Joe Mixon is in for the current Texans drive after the defense forced a Tua Tagovailoa fumble. It appears he avoided any injury designation at all.
With 11:11 remaining in the second quarter of the Houston Texans’ game against the Dolphins, Joe Mixon took a carry for negative yardage and stayed down in the backfield after taking the hit.
As of right now, his injury is unclear. He remained down on the field, until he was helped off and headed right to the bench. He has not yet headed—and may well not head at all—to the blue medical tent.
