UPDATE: Smith is questionable to return with a knee injury.
Midway through the third quarter of Sunday night’s game against the Green Bay Packers, Smith dropped to pass and quickly tried to throw a pass into the flat because two defenders were converging on him. Unfortunately, one of the defenders tackled him low and Smith suffered an injury.
He exited the game, went to the medical tent, then eventually limped to the locker room. Sam Howell replaced him.
Prior to exiting, Smith went 15-of-19 for 149 yards and an interception.
