Ja’Marr Chase is having a remarkable individual season for the Bengals. Chase leads the NFL in receptions, receiving yards and receiving touchdowns. Chase has the second-best odds at DraftKings Sportsbook to win the NFL Offensive Player of the Year, behind only Saquon Barkley. Over the past month, Chase has been on another planet compared to every other receiver in the league. In his past four games, Chase is averaging 9.5 receptions per game, 150.5 receiving yards per game and 2.0 touchdowns per game. That is about as good of a run as a wide receiver can go on.
This matchup against the Titans should provide Chase with plenty of opportunities to keep that streak going. Tennessee ranks 17th in defensive EPA/dropback and things are only getting worse for them. Since Week 10, they rank 24th in the league in that same category. They were playing good defense earlier in the season but things have trended way down for them in recent weeks and they are now playing like a bottom-ten defense in the league. The Bengals are 6th in the league in offensive EPA/play this season and should be able to attack them over the top and create some explosive plays.
My favorite prop bet for this game is for Ja’Marr Chase to go over his longest reception prop of 27.5 yards. During this incredible four-game stretch Chase is on, he is averaging a longest reception of 47.8 yards and has cleared this number of 27.5 yards in all four games. Overall this season, Chase has cleared this number in nine out of 13 games. The Bengals are in desperation mode to stay in the AFC playoff race and they need a win against the Titans here. They should put forward their best effort which will include some more huge plays to Ja’Marr Chase.
