They’ve scored a touchdown on 23% of their opening drives while the Seahawks have scored zero opening-drive touchdowns this season. Jacobs has also lived in the end zone over the back half of the season, totaling 10 touchdowns since Week 8.
Seattle ranks in the middle of the pack as an overall run defense but it has allowed the eighth-most rushing yards to opposing running backs this season and over 120 rushing yards per game when playing at home. Jacobs has logged at least 78% of the snaps and 18 carries in three of the last four games and won’t slow down on primetime. As a team, Green Bay ranks fifth in rushing yards per game and should have few issues moving the ball down the field. Having totaled 49 red zone touches this season, Jacobs will be the go-to option once in the red zone.
