Luka Doncic, Dallas Mavericks at Golden State Warriors ($11,500) — There’s a KAT lock on Sunday’s slate. There’s a Donkey lock. Doncic has scored 70 DKFP or more in three of his last five games. The two misses are easily dismissed. The Thunder’s generational perimeter defense shut Doncic down on Dec. 10 and the Mavs blew out the Wizards by 36 points on Dec. 5. The matchup with the Warriors should be closer, and Doncic should drop another 60 to 70 DKFP.

Jared Butler, Washington Wizards vs. Boston Celtics ($3,800) — Blowout or not, Butler should get enough run. The Wizards are running slightly thin. Butler should continue to get at least 20 minutes off of the bench. He scored 20.5 DKFP in the Wizards’ surprising win over the Nuggets on Dec. 7. He followed with 29.8 DKFP the next night in a blowout loss to the Grizzlies. He played 26 minutes in the beatdown. A Boston beatdown is better for Butler.

Jayson Tatum, Boston Celtics at Washington Wizards ($9,900) — The MVP candidate is back after taking a game off for rest. That’s bad news for a bad team. The Wizards are bad. They play poor defense and play fast. This game could be over early. That is a fear. Tatum could hit 5x value early. Predicting blowouts in the NBA is tricky. At the end of the day, the real factors must be weighed the most. This pick hits all of the NBA DFS categories: talent, matchup and game environment.

Jonathan Kuminga, Golden State Warriors vs. Dallas Mavericks ($5,700) — It’s looking like Stephen Curry ($9.500) will be out on Sunday. Kuminga has stepped up this season in the absence of stars. He’s stepped up since becoming a starter. In his last six starts, Kuminga has five games with over 30 DKFP and two over 40. The one miss was a blowout loss to the turnaround Timberwolves.

Karl-Anthony Towns, New York Knicks at Orlando Magic ($10,000) — KAT is the King of New York. This is why the Knicks traded for him. MSG didn’t need an NYC kitty. They didn’t need a defender against Pizza Rat. Towns is a formidable feline. He scored over 60 DKFP in back-to-back games. He hit a game-winning three on Dec. 9 and silenced Canada in New York’s 113-108 win at Toronto. KAT is scoring, rebounding, assisting and blocking. The Magic will be without their two best players Paulo Banchero and Franz Wagner. It’s fat KAT stats on Sunday’s slate at DraftKings.

Goga Bitadze, Orlando Magic vs. New York Knicks ($5,500) — Orlando’s starting lineup is missing their two key contributors. Other starters have to step up. Bitadze has accepted the challenge. He scored 48 DKFP on Dec. 8 and 41 DKFP on Dec. 10. The matchup with the Knicks isn’t ideal, but it should be a safe 30 DKFP for Goga at home.
