Here are Derrick Henry’s current prop bet odds at DraftKings Sportsbook. His prop lines are set at o/u 103.5 rushing yards and o/u 20.5 rushing attempts. Henry is -295 to score a touchdown, +175 to score two touchdowns and +255 to score the first touchdown of the game.
Henry is having an incredible season with the Ravens. He ranks second in the NFL in rushing yards and tied for first in rushing touchdowns this season. The Baltimore offense is fourth in the NFL in EPA/rush, first in yards per rush attempt and second in rushing yards per game. Henry’s dominance on the ground has opened up the Baltimore offense to the point that Lamar Jackson is having one of his best-ever seasons as a passer. Now, they are coming out of their bye week and face a Giants team that is really struggling.
The Ravens need a big win in this spot. They lost to the Eagles just before their bye week and now trail the Steelers by two games in the AFC North. They still have a chance to chase them down for the opportunity to host a playoff game, but they most likely need to win out. Meanwhile, the Giants have lost eight straight games coming into this matchup. They are starting Tommy DeVito at quarterback and it is extremely unlikely they will be able to compete with the Ravens.
That should lead to a monster game by Derrick Henry, which is why I am backing him to go over 103.5 rushing yards. Henry has gone under this number in all five of the Ravens’ losses this year. When Baltimore is trying to come back from behind, they have a much more pass-heavy approach. However, when they take leads they feed Henry the ball and he gets better as the game goes on. In the Ravens’ eight wins this season, Henry has cleared this number six times. The only two in which he didn’t were both games against the Bengals, who have a terrible secondary which Baltimore chose to exploit instead.
Henry should be really fresh after the bye week and is in line for a heavy workload against New York. The Giants rank 29th in opponent rushing play percentage, 30th in opponent yards per rush attempt, and 29th in opponent rushing yards per game. Henry should run all over the Giants and get well over his rushing prop number.
