LeBron James is listed as questionable for Sunday’s matchup against the Grizzlies as he manages his left foot injury.
The 39-year-old has been sidelined the past two games, having last played on Friday, Dec. 6. He could make his return in Los Angeles on Sunday, Dec. 15.
The Lakers are struggling, having lost four of their last five games. James’ return would be beneficial despite the team losing the last three games he played by a combined 72 points.
Nonetheless, James remains as one of the best players in the NBA even as he approaches his 40th birthday later this month. He’s averaging 23 points, 9.1 assists and 8.0 rebounds per game on 49.5 percent field-goal shooting and 35.9 percent from distance.
